Myers-Briggs, The Enneagram, Feminine & Masculine

As we move through stages of development, we each do so in our own unique way, based in part on our particular personality type. For example, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is one way of defining personality types based on the work of Carl Jung. Using the Myers-Briggs types, if I am an introverted thinking type, then I will move through stages with that orientation. If I am an extroverted feeling type, I will move through stages with that orientation.

The Enneagram is another system of personality typing.

Masculine and Feminine can also be viewed as two different personality types. For example, Lawrence Kohlberg and Carol Gilligan, two researchers at Harvard, identified masculine and feminine types of moral reasoning. Click here to read an article about this.
